The Molochny Gostinets enterprise

The Molochny Gostinets enterprise is one of the most famous and beloved brands in the dairy industry of the Republic of Belarus.

History of the enterprise.

Minsk City Dairy Plant No. 2 was put into operation in 1965, with a design capacity of 300 tons of processed milk per day, including a processed cheese shop with a refrigerator, with a capacity of 2000 tons for storing raw materials and finished products. In 1989, a leased enterprise, Minsk City Dairy Plant No. 2, was formed on the basis of the plant, which in 1997 was transformed into the Open Joint-Stock Company Gormolzavod No. 2.

At the beginning of 2001, a dairy production shop located in the village of Mezhdurechye (former Rakovsky Cheese Factory) was added to the enterprise. In 1997, a shop for the production of sterilized dairy products and natural juices was put into operation. At the end of 2009, Eksmoltekh OJSC was merged with the plant.

In September 2014, Gormolzavod OJSC No. 2 was reorganized by merging with Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1 OJSC as the Molochny Gostinets branch of Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1 OJSC.

On March 1, 2015, the Molochny Gostinets branch of Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1 OJSC and the Yunik-Agro branch of Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1 OJSC were transferred to the Molochny Gostinets Republican Production and Trade Unitary Enterprise in accordance with Resolution No. 39 of the Council of Ministers dated January 23, 2015, “On the Acquisition of Enterprises as Property Complexes into the Ownership of the Republic of Belarus”. In 2023, a workshop for the production of dry milk products was put into operation.

On June 4, 2024, the enterprise was restructured into the Molochny Gostinets production site by merging with Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1 OJSC.

In order to implement the Program for the Development of the Processing Industry of the Agro-Industrial Complex for 2003-2004, the plant was technically re-equipped. As a result, the enterprise acquired technological equipment from leading manufacturers in Western Europe. Over the course of several years, the following lines were installed: production lines for hard cheeses, bottling of dairy products in Pure-Pak and Fin-Pak packaging, lines for the production of cottage cheese using the separation method, a line for sterilization and packaging of dairy products and juices by Tetra-Pak (Sweden), a line for the production of cottage cheese by Obram (Poland), an automatic machine for packaging cottage cheese in polymer film under vacuum by Multivac (Poland), a unit for cleaning whey using the electrodialysis method by Mega JSC (Czech Republic), an automated line for the production and packaging of processed cheese (Frans Vermeer, Germany), an automated line for aseptic bottling and group packaging of milk, dairy products and juices in 0.2 l portions. After the reconstruction of the former production facilities of Eksmoltekh OJSC in December 2012, a workshop for the production and bottling of ultra-pasteurized products in PET bottles was put into operation. Today, the enterprise includes the following structural divisions:

• Dairy products workshop;

• Sterilized products workshop;

• Ultra-pasteurized products workshop;

• Processed cheese workshop;

• Soft and hard cheese workshop;

• Refrigeration workshop;

• Finished products workshop;

• Dry milk products workshop.

Today, Molochny Gostinets is a high-tech manufacturer of whole milk and fermented milk products, cottage cheese products, processed and semi-hard cheeses, and butter. The main priority of production is the desire to bring truly healthy and natural dairy products to consumers.

For over 55 years, the company has been operating based on the same principles – modernity and high quality.

In recent years, the company has increased its production volumes. The production and technological equipment fleet is constantly being modernized, which allows for the production of high-quality products that meet all requirements. The company's innovative activities include an extensive program for the development of new products and production technologies with a well-established quality control system at all stages – from the purchase of raw materials to the release of finished products.

The high quality of the products is confirmed by international standard certificates: STB ISO 9001, HACCP, STB ISO 22000 and the accreditation certificate of the production laboratory STB ISO/IEC 17025-2007.
